Grand Arcade Art Installation

The Grand Arcade Shopping Centre in Cambridge invited me to create three 3x3 metre art installation panels to mask renovation works carried out inside one of the shop units.

The brief was to capture Cambridge through the seasons based on my existing artwork (Botanic Gardens fountain in autumn, Bridge of Sigh’s in winter and King’s College in spring/summer) so the artwork stayed relevant throughout the year.

This project was my first major (still physically largest!) commission. I feel really proud to have had my work displayed in the counties leading shopping centre, in the middle of Cambridge, and will be forever grateful for such a fantastic opportunity. The exposure of this project led to my next major commission – a greeting card range with Abacus Cards, a leading UK greeting card supplier.
